REMINDER ELECTIONS – New information highlighted in Yellow
Hello
This is Gregg Smith, Senior Vice Commander – Hawkbill Base Board positions will reach the end of their 2-year terms this April.
One of my jobs is to form an election nominating committee. In this case the committee will be comprised of the following.
Ross Carroll – ross_carroll@hotmail.com
Scott Ullsperger – slullsperger@gmail.com
Gregg Smith – Gsmithbeer@aol.com
Darrell Pfannsteill – pfan61187@gmail.com
All current members of the board have agreed to continue in their respective positions if the Base chooses to reelect them. The Board has also decided to attempt to split the Secretary\Treasurer position into two different positions. Scott has expressed interest in retaining the Treasurer spot, but indicated he would serve as Secretary if no one else was interested. Steve Cole has expressed interest in the Secretary position and will appear on the ballot.
Thus, here are the positions…
Commander
Senior Vice Commander
Treasurer
Secretary
Junior Vice Commander
Next Step: If you’d like to nominate a member (or yourself) for a position you can do so by emailing that proposal to any, or all of us, on the nominating committee.
NOTE: If you are nominating anyone other than yourself, please verify with that person that they agree to run and if elected serve.
At the April Meeting, Ross Carroll – Base Commander, is responsible for conduct of the election. Immediately prior to the voting he will ask for any nominations from the floor. Again, if you are nominating anyone other than yourself, please verify with that person that they agree to run and if elected serve.
NOTE: All current Hawkbill members are eligible to vote. However, as per Hawkbill by-laws, those votes may only be cast by members in attendance at the meeting.
