7 February 2006 – USS Ohio (SSGN 726) returned to the fleet after its conversion from Ballistic missiles to Cruise missiles. Following the conversion each missile tube was capable of holding 7 Tomahawk Cruise missiles for a possible total of 154 Tomahawks. The Ohio is now slated for recycling after 45 years of service.
