USSVI Thresher Base invites you to join virtually with 300 USS Thresher family members who are attending the 60th Annual USS Thresher Memorial Service on Saturday, April 15th at 1300.
The service will be broadcast live over streaming Internet video over two broadcast URL’s, one for the indoor ceremony and a second for the wreath laying ceremony.
The purpose of the live broadcast is to virtually include USS Thresher Family & Former Crew members who are unable to attend, as well as Submarine Bases, Submarine Crews, USSVI Bases, Submarine Veterans & NAVSEA facilities that are located outside our region. Tune in to join with us in creating an international sense of community to remember the 129 men lost aboard USS Thresher 60 years ago on April 10, 1963.
The exact URL of the indoor streaming video will be generated by YouTube just prior to the broadcast at noon. However, the streaming page where it will be located will not change. The URL for Thresher Base’s YouTube Streaming page is Thresher Base’s YouTube Streaming Video Page. The name of the indoor broadcast stream will be “60th USS Thresher Memorial Service”. Important note: This link will work for the indoor portion of the ceremony only due to outdoor WiFi limitations.

Allow 10-15 minutes from the completion of the indoor ceremony before the start of the outdoor ceremony to permit our elderly attendees time to walk to the waterfront
