Ellie Signor was designated Honorary Submariner on Monday night at the Arco City Council Meeting. Ellie volunteered last summer as a host at the Arco Science Center. She took the watch 10+ times and greeted guests, conducted tours, and answered questions for visitors to the museum. She is the first and only Arco resident in recent history to volunteer and assist Hawkbill SubVets in this important mission for Arco, the Idaho National Laboratory, and the United States Submarine Force.
