    • USS Idaho committee.
  • Ross Carrol reported the tentative date for commissioning is still 4/25/26.
  • Marty Sattison reported on progress being made on the ship.
    • Public Relations – Gregg Smith reported we have 124 followers on our Facebook Page and it had 14,000 hits.
    • Camp Magical Moments – Ross – Mom’s Weekend
    • Arco science center Ross – talked to the new Rickover picture obtained and hung in the museum.
    • Champs update. Maggie – gave an update on the goings on at Champs Heart.
    • Joining forces – MAC Meeting
    • As always members should visit the HAWKBILL website and to join the Facebook and Instagram pages. More visits to the sites will improve overall internet visibility. PayPal and Venmo are now available on the website to allow for electronic donations and dues payments.
  • Old Business:
    • Field Trip to Mountain America Center – tentative Saturday December 6th. 0900.
    • Children’s Stickers for Fundraisers – Cowboy DJ is producing the first batch of stickers.
    • Lindsay Plyune, Camp Magical Moments, Medic on Honor Flight. Club donated $400.
    • Summer Picnic – Fred Kovach was applauded for providing his property for the event.
    • Hawkbill Challenge Coin Fundraiser.
  • Oliver Hannan – Cost $6 – $10, Retail $15-$25, min. order 100.
    • Spud King’s Fund Raiser.  19 December.
  • ~20 seats so far.
  • Priority for tickets is going to members with high volunteer hours.
  • New Business
    • Intro and information about SQUARE use.
    • Eternal Patrol Memorial – Freeman Park
  • Gregg Smith gave an update on the progress of the memorial.
  • Fund Raising – Grants and Brick purchases are being considered.
  • Dedication Ceremony target Memorial Day following Tolling of the Boats.
    • Ross discussed perusing USSVI awards for the base and its members.
    • A vote was made and approved moving the November meeting date to 22 November.

  • The CD matures on November. 5, 2025, I will be moving the money into checking in preparation in investing with Lance Kolbet

50-50:  $85.50 won by George Riddle ho donated his half to CMM. The other half went to the USSVI scholarship fund.
