Hawkbill received another BIG CHECK with it’s origins dating back to late winter. At that time Steve Sloan, Managing the bar at Heads and Tails Distillery on Park Street in Idaho Falls was approached with a request to designate Hawkbill Base to receive half the proceeds of the April Cocktail of the Month for April. When Steve asked ‘Why April’ he was told how April was the 125th anniversary of the US Submarine Force Steve asked what day; hearing the reply April 11th Steve exclaimed “That’s my Birthday too!” after approval by the management team at Heads and Tails so it was designated. On June 18th, after final calculations the amount raised came to $ 1,311.98. Pictured are Steve Sloan presenting the check to Hawkbill Treasurer Scott Ullsperger.
